mcminnville public safety building
McMinnville, OR
This new public safety building is replacing an undersized facility for the City of McMinnville, Oregon. Viridian worked closely with the design team to provide design and construction documentation for pedestrian areas, grading, stormwater management, irrigation and planting.
Site walls, stormwater conveyance, and the site plantings were designed to accentuate the decidedly modern building. Much of the roof drainage is daylit on the north side of the building through a series of precast runnels into a rock-line swale that cascades down the slope adjacent to the sidewalk, terminating in a detention pond prior to being released into Cozine Creek.
