Northwest Natural Terrace
Portland, Oregon

Viridian managed the design for renovating this existing fourth-story roof terrace, a central gathering-place, in Old Town. Strategically placed, galvanized planters allow vines to grow over the trellis and provide shade for the custom Ipe benches on this south-facing terrace. A steel and glass windscreen diverts strong winds over the terrace, and a small gas fire-pit provides winter warmth.
