Viridian was hired by OMSI to design and detail landscape improvements for the expansion of the west courtyard. The expansion matches existing patterns and materials while integrating a new elevator tower and city-required storm water management for impervious surfacing. The site is designed to exceed the requirements of the BES Storm Water Manual while providing an attractive, functional storm water treatment facilities that offer educational opportunities in keeping with the mission of OMSI. The courtyard finished construction in June of 2007, in time for the "BodyWorlds 3" exhibit.
